The Cathedral Hotel is a beautiful heritage listed venue at the southern end of North Adelaide. It is conveniently located just a short stroll from both The Memorial Hospital and the Women's and Children's Hospital, as well as the historic Adelaide Oval.
The hotel was established in 1860 and many of its historical features are still evident. There are two separate and beautiful bars and a large dining room, as well as an alfresco area on Kermode Street.
The hotel is very popular with functions ranging from dinner meetings and corporate cocktail events to 21st birthdays, other 'special age' birthdays and engagement parties. You can choose either of our bars or dining room to book exclusively for your event, with free room hire.
Kermode Street Bar
Our Kermode Street bar is intimate yet light and airy. It is our fun bar and is perfect for smaller functions. It is the perfect place to catch up with friends for a chat or an intimate drink for two!
Main Bar
Our Main bar is large and formal. The long oak bar top is perfect for entertaining corporate clients. It also allows for easy access to the bar as required. This is the perfect place for a large function or after work drinks!
Bistro dining
Bistro dining is available Lunch and Dinner, Monday to Saturday, either in the Dining Room, Kermode Street Bar, Main Bar or our Alfresco area along Kermode Street.
Dining Room
Our dining room is a beautiful combination of old and new. It provides a relaxed environment in which to eat a delicious meal. It also has its own serviced bar.
Alfresco
Our Alfresco area on Kermode Street seats 20 and is a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful Adelaide sunshine. It is the perfect location for a lazy summer lunch or a relaxing drink after work.
